Dr. Larry Bacon has practiced general dentistry in Kalamazoo since 1979. He has served as President of the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, and two years as Chief of the Dental Section at Bronson Hospital. Dr. B has served as a delegate at the annual meetings of the Michigan Dental Association for over 10 years, and while on the MDA's Legislative committee met with several of our Michigan congressmen in Washington, DC.

After graduation from Michigan State, and then from Washington University's School of Dental Medicine in St Louis, Missouri. Dr. B was granted a two year internship in the United States Navy, and was stationed in Great Lakes Illinois. After much review, Kalamazoo was chosen as the place to raise his family, and is the proud father of a son and daughter, both recent WMU grads.

Dr. Bacon, the musician, plays euphonium and trombone in several different area bands, and currently is the President of the Kalamazoo Concert Band. Concert schedules are often available at the office, along with previews of guest artists coming soon, as well as artists who recently performed with the band.

In his spare time, Dr. B is a semi-avid golfer, and enjoys video games involving military strategy or just annihilating zombies. Dr. B's wife is a pillar of patience and support.

Jodie and Paula, our experienced dental hygienists, will provide dental education, answer your questions, take necessary x-rays, while gently cleaning your teeth..

Jill, our office assistant, will meet you and greet you, answer your questions, schedule your appointments, process your insurance claims, and handle a multitude of other clerical tasks in a single day.

Tanya, is our chair side assistant, and is Dr. B's second right hand, helping to provide gentle, caring treatment. Tanya assists with the administrative tasks as well, providing a smooth flow of procedures throughout the office.

We share our office will other dental professionals, providing support for each other, and we are all dedicated to helping every patient experience optimal dental care.
